Bahrain Practice 2: Kimi barely tops Lewis

Kimi Raikkonen continued to set the pace in the second practice session at Sakhir.

But Ferrari's advantage at the circuit in Bahrain appears to have been reduced in the time since the pre-season test here, as no fewer than the top six runners logged a best time within half a second of each other; a gaggle led by Lewis Hamilton and also featuring the BMWs and a Williams.

Another five tenths covered the next six, while a gap of just two seconds from pole included at least one driver from every team on the grid, including backmarkers Spyker and Toro Rosso.

The session was not without incident, however, and the most dangerous involved David Coulthard narrowly missing a mechanic in the pit lane.
