Hamilton on top but Ferrari quickest
(GMM) Two tenths covered the top four runners in the final pre-qualifying practice session at Sakhir on Saturday morning.
McLaren's Lewis Hamilton emerged with officially the quickest time of all, but it should be noted that Felipe Massa – just sixth on the time sheets, and remarkably behind the flying Super Aguri of Anthony Davidson – posted the session's quickest sector times but did not string a fast lap together.
Massa's Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen is also likely to be in the hunt for pole position at 2pm, while both BMWs linger tantalizingly close the pace.
"There will be the two Ferraris and the two McLarens," rookie Hamilton answered plainly when asked about the likely pecking order in Bahrain.
He added: "BMW are extremely quick as well though."
