NASCAR.COM Gives Fans Free Access

NASCAR fans, Start…Your…Computers! NASCAR.COM is offering ‘43 for Free’ during Talladega race weekend by giving race fans across the country access to all TrackPass subscription products at no charge so they can log-on and follow their favorite driver – or all 43 drivers- throughout the weekend. The products, which include TrackPass RaceView, a live rendering of all NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series races; TrackPass Pit Command, a 2-D rendering of each race; and TrackPass Scanner, exclusive in-car audio from the full-field of 43 drivers, will be available for free exclusively on NASCAR.COM during NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Qualifying (Sat., April 28 at 10:15 p.m. ET), the NASCAR Busch Series race (Sat., April 28 at 2:30 p.m. ET) and the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race (Sun., April 29 at 1:30 p.m. ET). The free access does not require registration or a credit card and marks the first time all three products are available for free during the same time period.

In addition, NASCAR 24/7 Live, hosted by Riki Rachtman, will air as part of NASCAR.COM’s Talladega coverage. It will include three live one-hour shows: Friday’s Lunch at the Track, a preview of the weekend’s races; Saturday’s NASCAR Busch Series Preview Show, with the latest overnight news and buzz from the garage and live interviews with drivers, crew chiefs and NASCAR officials; and Sunday’s NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Preview Show, which will include live interviews with drivers, analysts and crew chiefs and include online polls, trivia games and all things NASCAR. All shows and interviews will be available exclusively online at NASCAR.COM.

Fans can select one driver or switch among the full field of drivers to follow them around the track, during pit stops, cautions and lead changes while viewing driver data such as live position, speed and time behind leader.

TrackPass PitCommand

Emmy-award winning application that allows fans to follow their drivers using 2-D animation.
TrackPass PitCommand will continue to be available with basic Internet access for $9.95 a month or $64.95 annually and will be upgraded to provide in-car audio feeds.
TrackPass Scanner

Popular product for fans that simply want to hear drivers and their crews communicate during the race reacting to situations on the track.
Scanner is $4.95 a month or $29.95 a year.
