Ducati president denies cheating allegations

Ducati president Federico Minoli has denied allegations of cheating surrounding his team and even went as far as responded on the Ducati website's official blog.

"As an Italian, as a Ducatista, and as the President of Ducati, I am happy and proud of Stoner's smashing victory in China and of the entire start of the GP racing season.

"However, as a fan, speaking for all Ducatisti, I feel the need to express my anger and protest against the false allegations of technical irregularities expressed in the Italian TV show 'Fuori Giri'.

"Ducati is an Italian manufacturer that is incredibly small compared to its adversaries. We won today because of hard work and ingenuity, both inside and outside the factory.

"We would like all Italians to share our pride. It is, however, our duty to demand respect and recognition for our accomplishments — no ifs, ands, buts, or lies."
