06/13/07 Jeff Gordon is now Dale Earnhardt Jr's boss at Hendrick Motorsports (well sort of), which won't sit well with many Earnhardt fans who hate Gordon because the young Gordon was a better driver and he out drove and outraced Dale Earnhardt Sr. and basically tamed the "Intimidator." Gordon has an ownership in Hendrick Motorsports No. 24 and No. 48 cars, a fact many forget. Earnhardt fans have thrown beer cans at Gordon following several of his recent wins, including his 76th victory at Talladega Superspeedway in April, which tied him with Earnhardt Sr. on NASCAR's career victory list.
