Bourdais, Doornbos smoke Mont-Tremblant

Saturday morning practice saw Sebastien Bourdais (right) break into the 1m15s bracket as the track really rubbered in and the lap times came plummeting down. Robert Doornbos very close behind Bourdais, both drivers shattering the track record set by Tristan Gommendy in Friday qualifying. No one else was even close as Simon Pagenaud was third over 7/10th of a second behind.

Gommendy, a front row spot locked in as a result of his fast time Friday, spent the session working on his race setup and was only 15th fastest.
