Massa ups the pace on the final day

While the World Motor Sport Council deliberated in Paris, Ferrari were back in action again today at Mugello along with the Toro Rosso squad.

Felipe Massa took over testing duties from Luca Badoer and out in 68 laps of the 5.245KM circuit, recording a best time of 1:20.194s, some 1.5 seconds faster than yesterday’s best.

Massa brought to an end a program of new mechanical and aerodynamic component development, aimed at the next few races of this season.

The team will be back on track on Tuesday at Fiorano, for the shakedown of the cars to be used in the forthcoming Hungarian Grand Prix. At the wheel will be Luca Badoer. Ferrari
