Martinez joins Racing Engineering

The Racing Engineering team will have an all-Spanish line-up from the Hungary race after announcing Marcos Martinez will replace Ernesto Viso.

Martinez will be the fifth driver at Racing Engineering this season, and he will partner Javier Villa, winner of two sprint races this year.

Venezuelan Viso had competed in three races for the team, but had failed to score any points.

Martinez had raced for Racing Engineering in the Spanish F3 championship.

"The arrival of Marco in GP2 is good news for Racing Engineering as it shows once again how its F3 program, made possible by the continuous support of its sponsors Repsol and Telefonica, has been really successful not only in producing victories and championships for the team but also as a great feeder for the GP2 project," the team said.
