Dalziel cleared to compete

Ryan Dalziel completed nine laps at Road America late Thursday afternoon to determine whether his broken collarbone had healed enough to compete at this weekend’s Generac Grand Prix at Road America.  Dalziel had surgery to repair the collarbone just 14 days ago but he was cleared by his surgeon on Wednesday. The team added extra padding and special belts for comfort and Dalziel was comfortable in the car yesterday.  He intends to race this weekend.  Mario Dominguez is standing by just in case Ryan cannot continue.
