Casey Stoner all the way in Brno

Australian polesitter Casey Stoner extended his lead in the MotoGP championship standings with a dominant victory at Brno on Sunday aboard his Italian Ducati bike, finishing 7.903 seconds ahead of Rizla Suzuki's John Hopkins. He extended his points lead over seventh place finisher Valentino Rossi in the title chase to 60 points with six races remaining. Defending World Champion Nicky Hayden, having finally come to terms with the new 800cc formula, took his third podium finish in four races with third place, ahead of Repsol Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa.
