Why Chicagoland added lights

Chicagoland Speedway has installed lights for the ’08 season, when the track will host the July 11 Busch Series and July 12 Sprint Cup races at night. The track will become the tenth Cup venue capable of hosting night racing. The Cup race, traditionally run on Sunday afternoon, will be moved to Saturday night, and the Busch race will be shifted from Saturday afternoon to Friday night.
