Alonso calls Dennis a liar

(GMM) Having already denied a code of silence with Ron Dennis, Fernando Alonso has now accused his McLaren boss of lying.

As the reigning world champion's relationship with the Woking based team continues to disintegrate at the scene of the Japanese grand prix, Alonso suggested at Fuji Speedway that Dennis was not telling the truth recently at the World Motor Sport Council.

Dennis had told the Paris hearing that he had not spoken with Alonso since a falling out in Hungary.

"That was not true," Alonso told reporters.

"I will not comment every day about what is correct and what is not, but in this case it was not.

"I was surprised about that because in Spa we were talking together in the hotel and I read in the press that we were not talking. I don't know. If Ron said that it is because he wanted."

The Spaniard also clarified that he spoke to Dennis "the day after" their infamous argument in Budapest.
