One-Eighty, Inc Produces Video For Champ Car

The Champ Car World Series relied on the expertise of One-Eighty, Inc to produce a thrilling video which serves as a companion to the series’ marketing brochure. The three-minute video features racing highlights as well as the exciting sights and sounds of Champ Car’s Three-Day Festivals of Speed.

“One-Eighty, Inc has managed to capture the true essence of Champ Car in this video," said Garret Mudd, Vice President of Marketing for the Champ Car World Series. “A Champ Car event isn’t just about the racing action on the track but the festival atmosphere that inhabits the race weekend and all the other activities that occur off-track and One-Eighty has done an excellent job at translating that excitement into this video."

Based in Oregon, One-Eighty, Inc creates short and long length videos using music, narration, humor, drama or intrigue to turn ideas into stories that will get remembered. They have worked on different projects in a wide array of domains with the likes of Red Bull, Nike Golf, Big Bear Choppers and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.

“Our main story line for the production of the video is that Champ Car is real, Champ Car is fantastic and Champ Car is fun and exciting," said One-Eighty, Inc Producer Tony Pulicella. “There is so much to see and do during a Champ Car event that fitting it into a three-minute video was probably our biggest challenge!"

Activities that go on over the Three-day Festivals of Speed include paddock tours, autograph sessions with all the drivers and live entertainment such as concerts and motocross demonstrations. Fans also have access to the paddock area and can get up close to the drivers. This is all in addition to the exciting racing action featuring cars going nearly 200 miles per hour on temporary street circuits and road courses.

The excitement continues for the Champ Car World Series on November 11 as the Series heads to Mexico City for the 2007 season finale. The Gran Premio Tecate Presented by Banamex can be seen live on ESPN 2 November 11 at 2:00 p.m.
