Mosley calls for closure

Due to McLaren’s public apology in regard to the ongoing spy affair that has rocked the Formula One world this year, the President of the FIA, Max Mosley has called on the world council to cancel the hearing scheduled for February next year in regard to the team’s 2008 car, and called for closure in the matter in the best interests of the sport. The hearing into the team’s new car was meant to be undertaken earlier this month, however due to certain findings by the technical investigators that detected Ferrari information could be in use, the hearing was delayed until a month prior to the season opening Australian Grand Prix.
