Super Aguri yet to confirm 2008 lineup

(GMM) Super Aguri has clarified that the FIA's newly published official entry list for 2008 is not confirmation that Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson will definitely race for the Japanese team again in 2008.

While fellow small outfit Force India declined to lodge the identity of Adrian Sutil's teammate for this year with the governing body, the entry list showed Sato and Davidson as apparent fixed starters for the Leafield based squad.

When contacted about the issue, however, a Super Aguri spokeswoman explained that the duo are likely to keep their seats, but that contractual negotiations are still ongoing.

She added that team chiefs decided to lodge two driver entries with the FIA even though they are yet to finalize the plans for 2008.
