Heylen outpaces Porsche regulars

Without question Champ Car drivers are some of the very best drivers in the world. Ex-Champ Car drivers Juan Montoya and AJ Allmendinger paced the first two days of Rolex 24 testing at Daytona Friday and Saturday. Meanwhile Jan Heylen posted the fastest Porsche time, (3rd overall in GT, behind a Mazda and Ford), faster even than the Porsche factory drivers and GT regulars etc. However, with its failure to market its race series around its drivers, Champ Car continues to flounder and their drivers have to go elsewhere to gain the notoriety that they deserve.
