Renault R28 shakedown on 21st of January

It will be a busy month for the ING Renault F1 Team. Next week, Fernando Alonso will come in action for Renault for the first time since he rejoined the French outfit. Nelson Piquet Jr. will drive the first day of the three-day test session and on day 2 and 3, Alonso will come in action.

On January 17th, Alvaro Parente, who won the World Series Formula Renault 3.5 title, will get his F1 test with the team at the circuit of Jerez.

Less than a week later, on January 21st, the R28 will be on track for the first time for a shakedown at Valencia. During the three-day test session at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo from January 22 to 24, the race drivers will get the first taste of the new machine.

On January 31st, the R28 will officially be launched in Paris.
