Valencia Test Day 1: Ferraris fastest
In front of a large crowd of enthusiasts, ten of the eleven teams entered in the World Championship were in action on track. The Ferrari duo of Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen led the way.
The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team moved continued work on the ongoing development of the 2008 challenger, with particular focus on bringing the gearboxes up to mileage, to be in line with the new rules that gearboxes are to last for four races in 2008.
In the Scuderia Toro Rosso camp, the main item on the agenda for both our drivers this morning was getting to know the circuit, which the team has not used for a long time. Once a decent set-up had been established, in the afternoon Sebastien worked on evaluating some new aero parts, while Sebastian continued with set-up, as the track conditions gradually evolved because of changes in the wind and temperature.
