Westfield Insurance joins Michael Shank Racing

(Daytona Beach, FL) —Michael Shank Racing is pleased to announce the addition of Westfield Insurance to the teams roster of partners, as the Ohio-based insurance company has signed on as title sponsor for the No. 60 Westfield Insurance Ford-Riley for the Rolex 24 At Daytona this weekend. The partnership will see Westfield Insurance logo prominently displayed on the No. 60 entry, which will start Saturday’s race on the pole after Oswaldo Negri set a Daytona Prototype track record in Thursdays qualifying session. Negri will share the driving duties in the Westfield Insurance entry with Mark Patterson, Graham Rahal, and Justin Wilson.

Westfield, which was also recently named as the “Official Insurance of the Mid-Ohio School," will also be on the car for the EMCO Gears Classic presented by Key Bank event at the Mid-Ohio weekend June 20-22.

“This is obviously great news for the team and we’re tremendously excited to start this relationship off right here at Daytona with the No. 6 Westfield Insurance Ford Riley starting on the front row on Saturday," said team owner Mike Shank. “This is a huge weekend for this team and to have our cars qualify where they did and to keep our program moving up with new commercial partners like Westfield Insurance, it’s only getting better. Hopefully we can go one better on Sunday afternoon with a win."
