Hospitality suites selling quickly in Singapore

Sales for phase one of the corporate hospitality packages for the 2008 FORMULA 1TM SingTel Singapore Grand Prix have been extremely strong since launch on 28 November. All the Sky Suites at the Pit Grandstand, Pit Exit and Turns 1 and 2 have completely sold out in addition to the Club Suites at the Pit Entry. Over 70% of the total hospitality suites for the 2008 inaugural race have now been sold.

The take up rate has been very strong with over 9300 places sold. 126 suites, accommodating 50 guests each, as well the initial release of 3000 tickets for the Paddock Club has been snapped up by the teams and major corporations eager to entertain their valued clients at one of the most anticipated races in the FORMULA 1™ calendar. The corporations cover a wide spectrum of sectors, including banking, finance, legal, lifestyle, maritime and construction.

Final preparations are underway to launch the public sale of the 65,000 grandstand and general admission tickets. The release date will be announced shortly. A three-day pass for grandstand seating is expected to start from approximately S$275. These passes will include a separate ticket for each race day at a special package price with significant savings over buying individual day tickets. A three-day pass can be used by three different people over the three days, however, tickets will not be interchangeable on the same day.
