Phillip Island Day 2: Stoner on top
Thursday morning rainfall at Phillip Island today gave the MotoGP riders the opportunity to evaluate their 2008 machines for the first time in the rain. The rain stopped at lunch time but the track wasn’t dry enough to continue with dry track testing until 3.40pm when the riders returned to action on slicks.
Defending champion Casey Stoner was fastest on his Ducati.
