Daytona 500 grandstand seats sold out

Officials from Daytona International Speedway have announced that all grandstand seats for the Feb. 17 Daytona 500 have been sold in what they say is the earliest sellout for the 500 in the race's history.

Infield tickets are still available for the 50th running of the Daytona 500, track officials say, as are seats for all other Speedweeks events.

"The anticipation of the 50th running of the Daytona 500 – NASCAR's biggest, richest and most prestigious race – has been at a fever-pitch level throughout the year," track President Robin Braig said in a news release.
