Kennametal to sponsor Franchitti

Chip Ganassi Racing officials announced today that Kennametal will be the primary sponsor for the next two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races for the No. 40 Dodge driven by Dario Franchitti. The company will sponsor the team for the races at Martinsville Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway. Franchitti, the Raybestos Rookie-of-the-Year points leader, is outside the top 35 in owners points and must qualify for Sunday's Goody's Cool Orange 500 at Martinsville based on speed.
