Honda backed AGR #27 called Honda Formula Dream Project

2008 begins a new era for Andretti Green Racing's #27 machine, now known as the Honda Formula Dream Project Dallara/Honda/Firestone and under the control of IndyCar Series rookie Hideki Mutoh.

Kevin Savoree, President and Chief Operating Officer, Andretti Green Racing:
"The program centered around the 27 car is very unique, but is also very much in sync with the development philosophy at Andretti Green. Honda Formula Dream Project works to develop young Japanese drivers and now we have Hideki in a position to hopefully challenge for rookie of the year honors in the IndyCar Series. Andretti Green has shown a willingness to invest in potential when it comes to young drivers and that has resulted in some great things for us. Hideki could be our third rookie of the year winner in six years and that makes this an exciting new program for our race team."

John Lopes, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Andretti Green Racing:
"Andretti Green is very fortunate to have one of the strongest marketing platforms in American motorsports today. The introduction of the new brands that are represented on Hideki's car takes us to an even more global level than we were before and that is exciting. Japan is an important market for our sport and we're looking forward to taking our brand more definitively into that part of the world."
