Mosley meeting to occur in about one month

Mosley might not be smiling in one month.

(GMM) It will take about a month to organize the meeting that is likely to seal the fate of beleaguered FIA president Max Mosley.

A spokesman for the governing body confirmed the approximate timeline, which will have to take into account preparations to fly 222 FIA delegates into Paris, and accommodate them, so they can rule on Mosley's future amid the sex scandal.

Some estimates put the cost of the meeting at about $2 million.

Mosley's support base continued to erode on Friday afternoon, as the president of the Dutch motor sport federation indicated which way he will vote in Paris.

KNAF (Knac Nationale Autosport Federatie) president Arie Ruitenbeek told the BBC: "We will go and will vote for him to resign."

Also on Friday, the British Sport Industry Group also rounded on Mosley's behavior.

"He is without doubt not suitable to continue within our industry and I call for his immediate resignation," chairman Nick Keller said.
