Memo Gidley TV Interview

Memo Gidley

Memo Gidley, Northern California’s best-known and most accomplished racing driver, is the subject of an extended interview on the upcoming episode of the KTVU FOX Channel 2 TV show “Trackside at Infineon Raceway."

Set to air at 10:00 am PT, Sunday, April 6 on San Francisco Bay area station KTVU, the interview covers his career from his earliest days in karting to his current status as co-driver of the #77 Kodak Doran/Dallara Ford prototype in the Grand-Am Rolex series. Also included in the interview are photos from throughout his career and video footage of his team’s debut of the new Doran/Dallara prototype at last weekend’s GAINSCO Grand Prix of Miami.

“It’s a great opportunity for me to be on a show that’s this popular with so many people in the Bay Area where many of my fans live," says Gidley, who was born in La Paz, Mexico to an American mother and Canadian father but has made his home in Novato, California. “I had a great time chatting with anchor Mark Ibanez and hope to be on the show several more times during the season."
