Richmond TV Ratings up 5%

For the second straight week, NASCAR on Fox posted a year-to-year increase as Saturday's race from RICHMOND averaged a 4.5/9 (7.3 million viewers). That's up +5% over last year's 4.3/11, which aired on a Sunday due to a Saturday rain-out. This is FOX's best NASCAR rating for a Saturday night race since 2006. Saturday's race opened at a 4.0/9 at 7:51p, and peaked at a 5.5/11 from 11-11:30p. For the night, FOX was the top-rated network among both Households (4.3/8), and Adults 18-49 (2.5/9), easily outrating the competition. Remarkably, every time FOX has aired a Saturday night race over the last seven-plus years the race has won the night among Adults 18-49, a perfect 12 for 12 record. Season-to-date, Sprint Cup racing on FOX is averaging a 6.1/12 (10.1 million viewers), up +3% over last year's 5.9/13. Currently, Sprint Cup racing on FOX is the top-rated sport in season. Fox PR
