Felipe Massa has rescinded his membership of the formula one drivers' union, the GPDA.

The news follows hot on the heels of Grand Prix Drivers' Association stalwart Jarno Trulli's harsh criticism of other non-members, including Lewis Hamilton, Adrian Sutil and Massa's teammate and current world champion, Kimi Raikkonen.
"I think they just don't care about safety," Toyota racer Trulli said this week.

Australia's Mark Webber on Friday accepted "100 per cent" blame for crashing his Red Bull in afternoon practice at Istanbul on Friday.
"I didn't respect the green astroturf that sits on the outside of the track enough," he said, apologizing to his mechanics.
