Coulthard’s car stops in morning practice, loose drain stops practice

(GMM) David Coulthard's preparations for the Monaco grand prix got off to a poor start on Thursday morning.

Half way through the initial morning practice session, the Scottish veteran's Red Bull RB4 slowed in the street circuit's famous tunnel.

He abandoned the car in an escape road near the harbor chicane without having set a single timed lap.

Thursday morning's opening practice session in Monaco was red flagged for 15 minutes to fix a loose drain on track. The drain that came loose could cause a dangerous situation if a driver would hit it. When the drain was discovered the session was immediately red flagged in order to fix it.
