Tickets Still Available for Ohio 250 at Mansfield
Good seats are still available for the fifth-annual Ohio 250 Craftsman Truck Series race at Mansfield Motorsports Park. "Ticket sales have picked up pace the past couple of weeks," said MMP public relations manager Charles Krall. "I think a lot of people are worried about gas prices and the weather. Well there's not much we can do about the cost of fuel, but I think the weather forecast has motivated some people to buy their tickets. For once it looks like we might see some sun on race weekend. We know the cost of getting here has gone up with the cost of fuel, but we've kept our ticket prices in check now since the event's inception in 2004," Krall said. "You can get a great seat in the corners or down the backstretch for $40, and that's before any of the discounts that are out there. We have some great partnerships with Pepsi and Miller Lite and there are lots of coupons out there. You're definitely going to get your money's worth here." There will still be tickets available for those waiting to see the sun shining down brightly over the Mid-Ohio countryside before they decide to make the trip to the track. The Ohio 250 race weekend activities kick off with Thursday's Race Fest in downtown Mansfield, with the transporter parade starting at 5 P.M. followed by the driver autograph session at 6 P.M. There will be a Q&A session with the drivers at 7 P.M., then the transporters move out back to the speedway at 8 P.M. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling (419) 525-RACE (7223) or online at www.mansfieldmotorsportsonline.com
