Conquest lands another sponsor

Harding Road, a Dallas, Texas-based motor sports team, announced an associate sponsorship agreement for 2008 with All Sport Body Quencher, a sports drink brand and subsidiary of Big Red, Inc., an Austin-based beverage company. The All Sport logo will appear in Sunday’s Indy 500 race on Conquest Racing's #36 car driven by Enrique Bernoldi.

“The IndyCar Series is an extraordinary sport for All Sport and Big Red, and Harding Road is a perfect match to help us add marketing muscle to our beverage brands," said Gary Smith, CEO of Big Red, Inc. “To have a presence in the Indy 500 is about as good as it gets."

“We’re very proud to have gained the confidence of Big Red," said Hulsey Smith, Principal and CEO of Harding Road. “Gary Smith has an incredible track record in building successful racing teams in the IndyCar Series, NASCAR, Grand Am and Off Road. To have him sign on with us brings stature to our Dallas-sized ambitions in racing."

Harding Road has contracted with Conquest Racing, one of the former Champ Car teams to make a successful jump to the IndyCar Series. Conquest is owned by president and CEO, Eric Bachelart.

“Harding Road will be making several more sponsorship announcements in the near future," said Hulsey Smith. “If you’re a Dallas- or Texas-based brand and want to be on the ground floor of something big, we're your guys."
