Barrichello escapes penalty for Fisi block
(GMM) Stewards decided against penalising Rubens Barrichello despite summoning the Brazilian veteran after qualifying for the Monaco grand prix.
The FIA representatives were investigating whether the Honda driver held up Force India's Giancarlo Fisichella when the Roman was on a quick lap.
Fisichella, who is 35, was also interviewed by the stewards.
"I got caught behind Barrichello just after the swimming pool as he was slowing down. Very, very frustrating," the Italian, who is celebrating his 200th grand prix at Monaco with special helmet and overall designs, said.
The stewards, however, ruled that Barrichello should not be penalised.
