Kyle Busch Crashes in Happy Hour at Pocono
Fresh off of returning from Texas and a second place finish in the Sam's Town 400 NASCAR Craftsman Truck race Kyle Busch was third fastest in Happy Hour at Pocono but then it happened. Busch lost the race car coming off of turn three and tried to bring it down pit road, but lost control again and slammed into the Pocono pit road heavily damaging the Gibbs Toyota.
Busch was fast, but loose, in Happy Hour and will need to go to a backup car for the Pocono 500 on Sunday. Carl Edwards was fastest in Happy Hour, followed by Jimmie Johnson, Busch (who starts from the rear in a backup), Jamie McMurray and Greg Biffle rounded out the top 5.
While Kurt Busch has enjoyed success at Pocono (2 wins and 7 top 5's in 14 starts), Kyle has not yet enjoyed the same favor with only a single top 5 finish in 6 starts.
The crash occurred towards the end of Happy Hour and NASCAR brought out the black and red flags after the crash ending the session for all.
