Stefano Domenicali does not see crisis Ferrari is in

Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen have scored six and eight points respectively over the last two events at Silverstone and Hockenheim, but still remain right in the championship battle behind Lewis Hamilton and ahead of Robert Kubica.

The German Grand Prix in particular was a disappointment for the Ferrari team with neither Massa nor Raikkonen able to challenge for the race win. Team Principal Stefano Domenicali however dismisses talk of the team being in trouble.

"Despite the fact the last two races have been negative for us, the Scuderia is definitely not in crisis," Domenicali stated. "The team is still leading the Constructors' Championship and theoretically, one of our drivers could again be back at the top of the Drivers' classification on Sunday night."

"We are on a similar points tally to last year, we have won half the races so far and indeed, taken half the pole positions," he continued. "Just as we never felt we were unbeatable after our French GP victory, so too, we do not feel all is lost after the British and German events."

Ferrari remain 16 points clear of BMW Sauber in the constructors' championship while Massa and Raikkonen trail Hamilton by four and seven points in the drivers’ championship.
