FIA gives Glock green light to race

Timo Glock cleared to drive

(GMM) FIA doctors on Thursday gave Timo Glock a green light to race in Hungary this weekend.

The German driver spent the night of the Hockenheim race two weeks ago in a local hospital after his big crash.

But even though he quickly recovered and even tested at Jerez last week, the final hurdle to resuming his race cockpit at Toyota was the medical examination at the Hungaroring.

"The only real after-effect was the many, many interview requests," Glock, 26, laughed to the German news agency SID in Budapest.

"The accident looked more spectacular than it felt in the car," he added.
