Daly wins again at Road America…by inches

After one of the most fiercely contested road racing contests ever at Road America, Indeck/Cytomax driver, Conor Daly won round ten of the Skip Barber National Championship at the American Le Mans Generac 500 weekend, Sunday August 10th 2008 – the margin of victory being a scant twenty one thousandths of a second. It was Daly’s third Barber National win and his last five starts and his sixth win of his last eight starts (having won the last three rounds of the Ontario FF1600 championship). Daly, who led across the line on three different occasions, pulled off a superb final drafting move on the run to the checkered flag giving him the win by inches over championship leader Josef Newgarden. Daly’s recent run of success has pulled him to within one point of the championship lead with four rounds to go.
