Monza: Sutil tops practice 1 in torrential rain
Force India’s Adrian Sutil was the quickest overall here in Italy this morning as rainfall affected the majority of the session. Sutil’s best time was set in the opening twenty minutes before the rain affected the running conditions. Honda’s Rubens Barrichello was second followed by the second Force India of local racer, Giancarlo Fisichella.
The session comes to a close, five minutes early, with the news that we could have rain for the remainder of the weekend. The second free practice session will start at 2.00pm local time with hopefully a bit less water on the track.
