Monza: Kimi tops practice, sends tifosi into frenzy
Kimi Raikkonen celebrated the announcement of his Ferrari contract extension by sending the Italian tifosi into a frenzy by setting the fastest speed in the second practice session at Monza for Sunday's Italian GP. He beat the BMWs of Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld with points leader Lewis Hamilton taking fourth for McLaren.
Practice began on a damp track, but unlike the first session, this time conditions steadily improved.
