Testing at Lowe’s next week
Ticket holders for the Oct. 11 Bank of America 500 are invited to experience Sprint Cup Series testing from pit road on Tuesday, Sept. 23 and Wednesday, Sept. 24. More than 40 drivers are scheduled to participate in the test which runs from 1pm to 9pm with a break from 5pm to 6pm each day. Fans that purchase, or have purchased, a ticket to the Bank of America 500, can get a closer look at their favorite drivers and watch the teams work on their cars with access to bleachers set up behind pit road near victory circle. In addition, Lowe's Motor Speedway's frontstretch grandstands will be open to the general public for viewing free of charge. Gates open at 9am each day. Tuesday also marks the first day that all remaining 2009 tickets for the historic 50th running of the Coca-Cola 600 and the 25th running of the Sprint All-Star Race go on sale. The Lowe's Motor Speedway ticket office will be open extended hours from 9am to 9pm both Tuesday and Wednesday during testing.
