Edwards, Harvick Scuffle at LMS
A heated exchange between NASCAR drivers Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick resulted in a shoving match between the two drivers in the Nationwide Series garage prior to Thursday's practice session at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
According to witnesses, the confrontation started in the garage stall of Harvick's no. 33 Nationwide team. During the exchange, Edwards grabbed Harvick, who then shoved Edwards onto the hood of the no. 33 car. Several of Harvick's crew members jumped in before the two drivers were seperated.
The incident was apparently sparked by the multi-car crash last weekend at Talladega Superspeedway at that triggered by Edwards and eventually collected Harvick.
Edwards refused to comment on the incident while taking questions in the media center after Sprint Cup qualifying as rained out.
