| Sparse Friday crowd should improve with Toyota on top |
Using a suspected trick Toyota engine to make headlines and boost ticket sales, Timo Glock gave circuit owners Toyota something to smile about by setting fastest time in the second free practice session at Fuji.
Glock's early 1:18.383 lap remained unbeaten throughout the rest of the session despite the best efforts of all the top teams.
Singapore winner Fernando Alonso was a close second in his Renault, 0.043 seconds behind Glock, with McLaren's Lewis Hamilton only 0.037 seconds slower in third.
