F1 needs ‘fresh blood’ – Honda’s Fry
(GMM) Honda team chief executive Nick Fry hinted the Japanese team will "bring some fresh blood into F1" next year.
The Brackley based squad fielded Jenson Button alongside Rubens Barrichello in 2008, but the latter Brazilian veteran's race seat is in doubt.
Honda will test Bruno Senna at the forthcoming Barcelona test, and it was announced on Friday that fellow GP2 competitor and Brazilian Lucas di Grassi – Renault's 2008 reserve driver – will join him in Spain.
"We want to look at some new guys," Fry said at Interlagos last weekend.
"I think it is important that we bring some fresh blood into F1. There are some good guys out there and we want to try them out," he added.
