ISC lays off 50 employees

International Speedway Corp. has laid off about 50 employees company-wide a spokesman said. Some of those cuts came at ISC, Daytona International Speedway and Americrown, spokesman Wes Harris told the Daytona Beach News Journal.

"The last thing we wanted to do is lay off even one person," Harris said. "But we have a great business model, and we want to make sure we stay in a strong financial position."
