Battistini Completes First Day’s Test with Sam Schmidt

Dillon Battistini today, completed the first day of a two day test with Sam Schmidt Motorsport after Sam invited Dillon to drive and take the opportunity of working together, Sam would very much like Dillon to drive for the Team in 2009.

The first day saw the Team test Dillon and Charlie Kimball on the Homestead Road Course along with a number of other teams, Dillon finished the day fastest overall, putting the usual cheeky smile on his face.

The teams take a break today to change the cars from Road Course configuration to Oval configuration and will be testing on the Homestead Oval tomorrow (Friday).

Dillon said last night “It was great to be back behind the wheel, it is 2 months since the last race, and it always feels good to be on top of the time sheets. I am really enjoying working with Sam Schmidt Motorsport and I thank Sam for the opportunity. Chris and Tim are great guys to work with on the engineering side and I am looking forward to the Oval on Friday"
