UPDATE ABC’s telecast of the Ford 400 Sprint Cup race from Homestead-Miami Speedway earned a final national rating of 4.0, down from the 4.2 earned for last year’s race that also aired on ABC. The race averaged 6,598,877 viewers. ESPN PR

11/17/08 The overnight TV rating for the NASCAR Sprint Cup season finale Ford 400 on ABC Sunday was a 3.6, down 5.3% from last year's 3.8 overnight rating, also on ABC, and down 16.3% from the 4.3 overnight in 2006 on NBC.
