ING committed to Renault F1

Alonso's ING backed Renault

After receiving a Euro10 billion bailout from the Dutch government, ING, the Amsterdam-based bank that is Renault F1's title sponsor, stated that it will complete its three-year contract in F1. Head of F1 marketing Isabelle Conner said the bank is committed to the deal at least until the end of next year.

"This sponsorship is the best thing that ever happened to ING," she said. "Now we're in year two. It's strategic, it's a growth driver, it's a revenue generator for us. We're in it for three years, we've always said that, that's our commitment. You bet we're continuing this, because it works."

ING is also the title sponsor of the Australian, Belgian and Hungarian Grands Prix and a highly active trackside advertiser at other events.
