Ferrari switch rollout to Mugello
(GMM) Ferrari has decided to change the venue for the track debut of its 2009 formula one car.
Following the official launch of the single seater at the Maranello based team's Italian headquarters, Felipe Massa had been scheduled to drive the car onto the nearby Fiorano test circuit later next Monday.
But reports in Germany reveal that those plans have changed, given inclement winter weather conditions in the north of the country.
Instead, Massa will clock up the first kilometers at Mugello, Ferrari's other test circuit, located nearly a two-hour drive south of Fiorano.
The Ferrari launch and roll-out will be the first among F1's 2009 teams.
