Theissen looking forward to the F1.09 Launch

Our first highlight of the new season is just a few days away. The BMW Sauber F1.09 completes its very first laps. Each year we all invest a lot of time and effort into developing the new car, in order to guarantee that we make the progress we have resolved to make. So far we have always achieved our ambitious objectives. Preparations for the team's fourth season have thrown up some particularly demanding challenges for the BMW Sauber F1 Team.

Formula One is changing. Aerodynamic features are being trimmed dramatically for 2009, slicks are back, and the new KERS technology is on our doorstep. Having to incorporate so many new factors into the car's design is asking everything of our engineers in Munich and Hinwil. However, we are certain we have found very promising responses to the questions, which are being posed by the new regulations.

Despite all these new alterations, I can assure you that one thing will remain the same in the BMW Sauber F1 Team: the absolute will and determination to achieve our goals again this season. We want to mount a serious challenge for the World Championship title.
