Brian France to meet with team owners
NASCAR chairman Brian France said he will meet team owners in the next few weeks "to talk about all we can do together to weather the (economic) storm." "We'll leave the stimulus package to the government," he said. "What we can do is work with all the stakeholders in the sport, and it's not hard work because obviously everybody is very interested and understands what they're up against, whether it's tracks, team owners, drivers." St. Petersburg Times [Editor's Note: The rich fat cats in NASCAR – all of them – the France family, drivers, team owners and track owners, can take a year without pay (heck they are so rich they can afford 10 years without pay) and use the money to reduce the ludicrous tickets prices NASCAR fans have to pay, many of whom are unemployed.]
