Freestyle motocrosser Jeremy Lusk dies

Freestyle motocrosser Jeremy Lusk died last night as a result of the head injuries he suffered in a crash on February 7 while performing at the X Knights competition in Costa Rica. Lusk, a resident of Temecula, California, was 24 years old.

According to his team’s publicist, Lusk died at 11:03 p.m. on Monday at the Calderon Hospital in San Jose, Costa Rica with his family by his side.

He is survived by his wife, Lauren, and his mother and father, Chuck and Gina Lusk. His in-laws and fellow Metal Mulisha riders Brian Deegan, Ryan Hagy, Cameron Steele and Erik Apple were also at his bedside.
